現(xiàn)代電氣工程及其自動化行業(yè)具有技術(shù)、資金、人才密集等特點(diǎn),是電氣信息領(lǐng)域的一門新興交叉學(xué)科。隨著當(dāng)今高新技術(shù)的快速發(fā)展,電氣工程及其自動化與人們的日常生活及工業(yè)生產(chǎn)緊密相關(guān),這方面的人才市場需求也很旺盛。近年來,我國電氣工程及其自動化行業(yè)迎來了新一輪的發(fā)展機(jī)遇,但也面臨著國外電氣工程及其自動化先進(jìn)技術(shù)和高品質(zhì)產(chǎn)品的嚴(yán)峻挑戰(zhàn)。隨著世界經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化,我國與國外同行之間的業(yè)務(wù)交往日益增多,大量的先進(jìn)電氣工程及其自動化技術(shù)設(shè)備的引進(jìn)也隨之增多,電氣工程及其自動化專業(yè)英語的應(yīng)用越來越廣泛。對于電氣工程及其自動化專業(yè)的大學(xué)生和從事相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的工程技術(shù)人員來講,熟練掌握電氣工程及其自動化專業(yè)英語基本技能是非常必要的。
電氣工程及其自動化技術(shù)涉及電子電路、電力電子、電氣工程、檢測與自動化以及新能源等眾多技術(shù)領(lǐng)域,其科技英語詞匯和語句等雖常見于各專業(yè)文獻(xiàn)中,但比較分散,給廣大大學(xué)生和初學(xué)者的專業(yè)英語學(xué)習(xí)帶來了諸多不便。為了滿足電氣工程及其自動化專業(yè)英語教與學(xué)的需求,我們編寫了《電氣工程及其自動化專業(yè)英語》一書。
