本書在全面研究本領(lǐng)域已有研究成果的基礎(chǔ)上,系統(tǒng)探討語法隱喻理論的核心問題——一致式與隱喻式在意義上的差異性。本書以系統(tǒng)功能語言學理論為指導,基于語言的五大維度,通過實際語料的分析,結(jié)合語境,從詞匯語法層面尋找意義變化的依據(jù),通過聚焦“性狀”轉(zhuǎn)“事物”類概念語法隱喻,初步提出探討人際和語篇意義變化的可行視角。
通過研究,該書發(fā)現(xiàn):(1)“性狀一事物”類概念隱喻從一致式到隱喻式的轉(zhuǎn)變過程中,主要產(chǎn)生四種類型的概念意義變化,即語義抽象、語義概括、語義特化和語義模糊。(2)不同類型的經(jīng)驗意義變化在語料中呈現(xiàn)出有規(guī)律的分布模式。語義抽象是普遍性的變化,其他類型為具體變化。(3)語義抽象源于語義交聯(lián),經(jīng)驗意義的各種變化都有具體的詞匯語法體現(xiàn)形式。該書還提出了“過程+性狀+事物”三種語義范疇融合的“三重交聯(lián)”。(4)語法隱喻中的人際和語篇意義的變化可分別從評價意義和指稱系統(tǒng)的視角進行探討。總體上講,該書對語法隱喻在意義上的變化做了較為系統(tǒng)的分析闡釋,在一定程度上進一步完善了語法隱喻理論。
董娟,女,英語語言文學博士,副教授,碩士生導師。2000年畢業(yè)于聊城大學英語教育專業(yè),獲學士學位;2003年畢業(yè)于上海理工大學外國語言學及應(yīng)用語言學專業(yè),獲碩士學位;2018年畢業(yè)于同濟大學英語語言文學專業(yè),獲博士學位。自2003年起任教于上海理工大學外語學院,曾獲校教學比賽一等獎、課程優(yōu)秀獎、“師德標兵”等獎項與榮譽稱號,獲全國高校英語教學大賽上海賽區(qū)二等獎。主要研究方向為系統(tǒng)功能語言學、外語教學理論與實踐。主持教育部人文社科青年基金項目一項、上海理工大學人文社科基金和教師教育發(fā)展項目多項,在《外語教學與研究》《現(xiàn)代外語》等核心及其他期刊發(fā)表論文二十篇。
