Dr.Zhao Hongqiobtained her Bachelors Degree iEnglish Language and Literature from the South-West Teachers University (now South-West University). She Taught English as a Foreign/Second Language (EFL/ESL) for 10 years icross sectors. With that experience, she took up a Masters study iEducational Technology at the University of Bath, UK, and thecontinued with her Doctorial study iTeachers knowledge with a life-history narrative methodology. She was awarded her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Education, the University of Bath i2007.
Her areas of research interest include the culture of education, teachers work and professional development, ICT-assisted language teaching and learning, experience ilife-long learning, as well as qualitative research methodologies (e.g. life-history narrative and auto-ethnography).
