本系列教材屬高職高專公共英語系列。該套教材同時也是廣東省高職高專英語改革項目的一個重要組成部分,在內(nèi)容上全面更新,體現(xiàn)出了新內(nèi)容,新體系,新觀念的時代需要。該套教材加強了對應用文等實用文體閱讀能力的培養(yǎng),將英語應用能力的訓練具體體現(xiàn)于英語能力的培養(yǎng)之中,真正做到了“教、學、考”相互照應。 教材的編寫特色如下: 1.嚴格按照《基本要求》編寫。 2.加大聽說技能、特別是實用交際能力的訓練,把培養(yǎng)一定的實用口語交際能力作為本教程的重要任 務。 3.加強對應用文等實用文體閱讀能力的培養(yǎng),滿足將在一線工作的學生實際的涉外交際需要。 4.認真貫徹“學一點、會一點、用一點”,“聽說讀寫譯并重”和“邊學邊用、學用結(jié)合”的原則。
《高級職業(yè)英語》系列教材自2009年出版發(fā)行至今,已有八個年頭了。這八年中,教材因其鮮明的特色贏得了廣大師生的肯定和喜愛,不少教師還與我們交流分享使用過程中的心得體會,并對教材不足之處提出了寶貴意見。值此修訂之際,我們謹向一直以來支持和使用這套教材的廣大師生致以誠摯的謝意!
近年來,隨著我國高等職業(yè)教育改革和發(fā)展的不斷深入,英語教學也發(fā)生了很大變化。為了更加順應高職英語教學發(fā)展的新形勢,我們于2013年就啟動了教材的修訂工作。修訂后的教材除保持其原有的“編寫理念上的先進性,教學內(nèi)容上的職業(yè)性,崗位技能上的針對性,編排體系上的合理性”等鮮明特色外,更加符合市場經(jīng)濟環(huán)境下用人單位對高職畢業(yè)生英語技能的客觀需求,更加符合英語語言教學的客觀規(guī)律,也期待得到更多師生的肯定與支持。
本次具體修訂內(nèi)容如下:
1.對《聽說教程》(1-3冊)、《讀寫教程》(1-3冊)和《拓展教程》(1-3冊)原有的30項共核技能(Common Core Career Skills)進行了整合和調(diào)整,合并比較接近的技能。具體是:刪除了“處理個人信息”(Handling Personal Information),并把有關內(nèi)容并入“適應新環(huán)境”(Adaptingto New Environments);刪除了“找工作”(Hunting for a Job),并把有關內(nèi)容并入“職業(yè)規(guī)劃”(Planning Your Career);刪除了“商務禮儀”(Business Etiquettes),并把有關內(nèi)容并入“認識文化差異”(Understanding Cultural Differences);刪除了“合同”(Contracts),并把有關內(nèi)容并入“談判”(Negotiation);刪除了“工作壓力”(Work Stress),并把有關內(nèi)容并入“職業(yè)健康安全”(Occupational Health and Safety)。加上新增的“人力資源管理”(Human Resources Management),共計24項技能,每冊8個單元分別針對8項技能。
2.對訓練項目做了適當調(diào)整,如把《聽說教程》中深受歡迎的“Listenand Match”從原來的“Before-class Activities”移到了“In-class Activities”,作為常規(guī)訓練項目;用名人名言或短小故事替換了《聽說教程》中“After-classActivities”里的英文歌曲;刪除了《拓展教程》中的“Focuson Grammar”部分。語法內(nèi)容經(jīng)過精編后編入《基礎教程》。
3.重新設計并編寫了部分練習內(nèi)容,并對全套教材進行了認真仔細的勘誤核查。
4.對配套數(shù)字化課件進行了重新設計和制作。
5.同一冊的《聽說教程》《讀寫教程》《拓展教程》的教師參考書內(nèi)容合成一本教師參考書。
