POSTSCRIPT
In order to know vertical distribution of heavy metal elements in unsaturated zone after long-term irrigation and the lateral leakage of wastewater irrigation on the heavy metal elements accumulation in unsaturated zone,we used Luoyang shovel to get soil samples.According to the trend of the sewage channels,we chose places perpendicular to the irrigation channels and took the soil samples in the irrigation channels and in the farms which distance the channels 3m,7m,18m.In addition,we chose an old dilapidated house in Liujian village which has never been irrigated by sewage as a background. The house is about 100m away from the Beizhang waste canal. It is influenced less by the lateral infiltration of waste canal,so this place can reflect the soil composition without sewage irriga-tion.From the surface to 2m down,we took a soil sample every 0.3m,and each of them was not less than 2kg,then mixed and used quartering method to take 0.Skg.At last,33 soil samples were collected(Fig.1).
